When I first started my foods were very boring! I put different spices on the chicken to make different flavors but I ate chicken lunch and dinner every day. It does get old but it was so worth it. Transformation Pcitures

The beginning of US

Im Chelsea and I am 30 years old! I am a mommy of 2 very energetic boys and I stay home with them. I also have a very handsome 10 yr old stepson! This blog will be about my journey to getting fit and healthy while inspiring others to do the same.

I have always been over weight and always said I was going to lose weight but never followed through with my goals. I spent 6+ years working the in ER of a local hospital which I loved! I met my husband is early 2006 and we married Dec 2006.  Me and my husband battled infertility due to PCOS and after failed infertility treatments we gave up in 2008. My husband went through police academy and graduated in 2010. 1 week after he graduated academy I found out I was 11 weeks  pregnant with my oldest Jacob.  I had a rough pregnancy from the beginning and was told I was going to lose him many times. I made it 34 weeks when I developed HELLP/preeclampsia. I had to be careflighted to a bigger hospital to deliver because I was doing so poorly and he was going to be premature. 7 days in the NICU Jacob came home and has been thriving ever since. Jacob was 6 months old when I found out I was pregnant again which was a complete shock considering we had been through so much with infertility treatments.  This time I made it to 30 weeks and had to deliver because of preeclampsia.  The boys are 11 months and 25 days apart in age! While Gunner has had some health issues he is such a happy toddler.

I go back and think if I was healthier during those time if I would have gotten so sick so fast and had to deliver early both time. I was pushing 200lbs when I delivered Jacob!

My husband is also a reservist in the Army and in October 2013 he was called up for deployment. I decided during the time he was gone I would improve my self and get healthy. As of August 2014 i am down 67lbs, currently weighing 107lbs and many pants sizes by simply clean eating and working out.
